Dr. Patinharekandy Prabhathan

Research Interest: Nano photonics, spatial light modulators, and Brain-Efficient Artificial Intelligence

Prabhathan received his Ph.D. degree in Optics and Photonics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2012. He worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in the same university in different departments, including the School of EEE and Rolls-Royce @NTU Corporate Lab. He also has experience in an industry job from ASM Technology, Singapore Pte Ltd.

Dr. Manoj Gupta

Research Interest: Active and tunable toroidal metasurfaces, Terahertz spectroscopy, Sensing

Manoj has earned his Ph.D degree in Applied physics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2019. He completed his bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He has working experience in oil sector, as well as in education sector.

Dr. Abhishek Kumar

Research Interest: 2D materials, Perovskites/ MoS2

Abhishek's current research focuses on studying the topological phases of light particularly in the terahertz frequency and ultrafast terahertz spectroscopy. He is also involved in building the testbed terahertz wireless communication system for 6G communication using the photonic topological insulator-based terahertz transceiver. He received his doctoral degree from NTU, Singapore.

Dr. Thomas Tan Caiwei

Thomas Tan graduated from NTU with a doctoral degree in Applied Physics and his interest lies in programming and simulations. His current research interest is metamaterial plasmon coupling and high Q devices.

Piyush has received his integrated BS-MS degree from IISER Bhopal in India and currently pursuing Ph.D. in Physics department at NTU. His current research work involves the study of terahertz emission from novel hetrostructures.

Yi Ji Tan

Yi Ji obtained his Bachelor in Applied Physics from Nanyang Technological University. He is currently a PhD candidate working on spatiotemporal beam shaping in the terahertz regime using Deep Learning.

Wang Wenhao

Research Interest: Active THz metasurface, Bound states in the continuum, THz 6G wireless communication

Wenhao is a Ph.D. candidate in the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He is currently an exchange Ph.D. student in the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies (CDPT) at NTU. His research work involves the study of optical bound states in the continuum in dielectric metasurface and THz 6G wireless communication.

Ridong Jia

Ridong has received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Tianjin University in China and is currently pursuing PhD degree in NTU. He is now investigating the 6G on-chip communication based on terahertz topological photonics.

Nikhil Navaratna completed his B.E (Hons) Electronics and Communication Engineering and M.Sc. (Hons) Physics from BITS Pilani-Hyderabad Campus. He is currently a PhD student working on developing Hybrid electronic-photonic systems for applications in 6G technology.

Sobhan Subhra Mishra

Sobhan has received an integrated BS-MS degree from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela from the Department of Physics and Astronomy. He is currently a PhD student at NTU working on THz spectroscopy of Weyl and Dirac semimetals in 3D solids.

Shrinivas Jayaram

Shrinivas has obtained his M.Tech in Applied Optics Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He is currently pursuing PhD in Physics at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research topic involves investigating topological Phases of light for applications in Terahertz communication.

Dr.Yogesh Kumar Srivastava is currently a faculty at Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. He earned his Ph.D degree in Applied physics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2019. He has industrial experience as Materials Failure Analysis Specialist at Finisar Malaysia.

Dr. Panahandeh Fard Majid

Research Interest: Terahertz technology for diagnosis

Dr Majid Panahandeh Fard is a senior research fellow, obtained his PhD from the Division of Physics and Applied Physics, NTU in 2015. His focus of research is the commercialization of terahertz technology for the diagnosis industry. He is developing a breathalyzer for detecting respiratory infectious through exhaled breath.

Sreekanth K V is currently working as Research Scientist at Institute of Microelectronics, A*STAR, Singapore. Dr. Manukumara Manjappa

Dr. Manukumara Manjappa is currently a faculty at Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2019 from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore. His research interests include reconfigurable metamaterials, quantum sources, ultrastrong light-matter coupling and ultrafast spectroscopy of quantum materials.

Dr. Yang Yihao

Research Interest: Topological photonics, Metasurfaces, Invisibility cloaks

Dr. Yang is currently a faculty in College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University, China. He received his PhD degree in Electronics Science and Technology from  Department of Information Science and Electronic Engineering at Zhejiang University, China in 2017.

Dr. Govind Dayal

Research Interest: Plasmonics, Metamaterials, Infrared spectroscopy

Govind is currently a faculty in Department of Physics, Banaras Hindu University, India. He aims to explore ultrafast control of plasmon-molecular interaction in both linear and nonlinear regimes to develop and advance infrared spectroscopy techniques.

Dr. WenXiang Lim

Research Interest: Resonant Metamaterials

WenXiang received his doctoral degree in Applied Physics from Nanyang Technological University in 2018. His research interests involved integrating metamaterial system with novel material platforms as active medium to realize dynamic control of resonances and developing high-Q Fano resonance in metamaterial system from optical to microwave regime

Dr. Cong Longqing

Research Interest: Active photonic metadevices, ultrafast terahertz optics, metamaterials

Longqing obtained his PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2017. He is currently a faculty in Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).

Dr. Song Han

Research Interest: Dielectric photonics, dielectric laser/THz accelerator, and bound states in the continuum.

Song Han received his doctoral degree in Applied Physics from Nanyang Technological University in 2020. He is currently working as a research fellow in the School of Electronic Engineering, NTU, Singapore. His current research involves dielectric photonics, dielectric laser/THz accelerator, and bound states in the continuum.
