Ruixiang Guo received her Ph.D. in Optics from Shanxi University, China. In 2001, she was awarded a prestigious JSPS Fellowship and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan, from 2001 to 2003. She has since held research positions at several leading institutions, including RIKEN, the Institute for Infocomm Research (A*STAR), the Centre for Quantum Technologies at the National University of Singapore, and, since 2016, the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies at Nanyang Technological University. Her research interests span nonclassical light generation and detection, optical metrology, terahertz technology, and nanophotonic devices based on nanostructured materials.
