PhD Scholarship:We invite applications for a PhD position within the School of Physics and Applied Physics at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. The successful applicant will join the Ultra Cold Atoms research group. Applicants should have completed their diploma/master thesis or have an exceptional bachelor degree. Experience in experimental atomic physics or quantum optics or in laser stabilization, ion/neutral atom trapping, electronics, ultra-high vacuum techniques are favorable. The candidate will work on one of our current experiments. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to attend international conferences in US/Europe/Asia and will play a vital role in the progress of the project. Scholarships are available to start from mid 2013. The project is well funded with postdoctoral support and is embedded in a friendly international team that is committed to excellence in physics.
